Nancy Begin (Lifetime Member)
Nancy Begin is a dedicated and much respected artist from Topsfield who was influenced by the works of master etchers Frank Benson and Roland Clark. She represents the third generation of sportsmen in her family. She grew up following her father as he hunted and fished in Essex County. The inheritance her father
left her is a gift one can readily see reflected in her art.
Nancy is best known for her etchings and watercolors that depict the graceful flight of water fowl over the marshes, as well as the subtle beauty in New England landscapes.
Nancy was one of the founders of the Saltbox Gallery in 1988 and has been its “heartbeat” ever since. She has been granted the status of “Lifetime Gallery Member.”
